Container Storage
Homemaster Removals are very pleased to be able to offer our customers a very secure container storage facility. To meet the growing needs of our customers we have developed the ideal storage system specially developed for the storage of household furniture and effects.
To transport the containers we use vehicles that have been specially designed to our own specification that are both modern and reliable. The containers are made of a strong wooden construction, with each one able to hold 250 cubic feet of furniture which translates to a large quantity of your belongings. They are already in the vehicle when it arrives at your home, each one clean and dry complete with packing blankets, so that when your goods are packed inside they will remain clean and dry.
The vehicle is equipped with large opening doors down one side that enables access to the containers. Ramps are set up alongside the vehicle with canopies above to protect against inclement weather and your furniture is placed directly into the containers. Blankets and wrappers are used to protect your belongings with all items very well covered.
As each item is placed in the storage container they are noted on a storage inventory. A separate inventory is produced for each container with a copy to be retained by the customer.
Your possessions will then be sent back to our own purpose built storage depository where a forklift truck gently takes the loaded containers from the vehicle and places the numbered containers in the warehouse for safe keeping. All loading and unloading of containers is carried out within the storage depository ensuring both the containers and even more important your possessions stay dry.
When you decide to take redelivery of your possessions the containers are loaded gently with the forklift truck onto the vehicle and delivered to your new home. There they are unloaded by the same means as loading takes place and your possessions placed in your new home to your instructions.
Storing in Homemaster Removal storage containers reduces the number of times your possessions are handled thereby minimising the chance of accidental damage. It is a very secure method of furniture storage and gives peace of mind whilst your valued possessions are in our care.
